We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Business Partner to partner with King’s talented games team based in London, Berlin, Barcelona, Stockholm and Malmö.

This role offers a lot of variety and scope, giving you access to make an impact at scale across our Kingdom and the opportunity to work internationally with very talented people as your HR Partner, while also being part of a larger People Team.

Reporting into a Senior People Director, you will support King-wide people initiatives and co‑create and execute business strategies across the end‑to‑end employee life cycle, focusing on talent management, organisational effectiveness and employee engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Establish strategic partnership with a diverse set of managers, accountable for creating and driving elements of the people strategy for your area of responsibility.
  • Work with managers across the business to support and drive all people‑related processes, topics and priorities, including performance management, talent identification, org design, employee engagement & communications and workforce planning.
  • Apply HR expertise and business acumen to coach, advise and support business leaders with their people plans, talent needs and employee relations support.
  • Accountable for completing talent planning, succession, assessments and similar processes that drive the people strategy with high quality and integrity.
  • Drive organisational development, redesign, change & engagement in your areas, including project management & employee communications.
  • Partner with leaders to develop our leadership capability and skills needed for future success.
  • Support leaders and teams with workshops, career and development sessions, engagement and high‑performing team initiatives.
  • Work closely with HR Centers of Expertise to resolve complex problems through innovative and agile thinking.
  • Manage bonus and merit process, ensuring recognition and reward attracts and retains the best.
  • Drive our diversity & inclusion strategy across all touch points of the employee lifecycle.
  • Champion our values and culture as a role model.
  • Prioritise your own growth and development; understand and drive external benchmarks across functional and HR areas.
  • Project‑manage elements of either the functional or HR strategy.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Demonstrated track record as an HR Business Partner.
  • Thrives in a fast‑paced, diverse and creative environment.
  • Results‑oriented with commercial acumen and awareness of business impact.
  • Ability to manage all elements of organisational transformation, facilitation and training.
  • Employee relations knowledge, ability to coach and advise managers and drive necessary actions.
  • Mediation skills with the ability to guide and support successful conflict resolution.
  • Change agent – skills and desire to change the status‑quo for the better.
  • Excellent project management skills with experience owning and managing cyclical people processes and projects.
  • Data‑driven, using data to demonstrate insights, inform decisions and influence others through storytelling.
  • Strong communication skills to engage diverse audiences and influence appropriately.
  • High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of UK employment law is required.
  • Fluent in business English (written and spoken).

Bonus Points

  • Bachelor’s degree (experience considered alternative).
  • Experience from Digital, Entertainment or Technology companies.
  • Experience partnering multiple business functions across technology platforms and studio creative teams.
  • International HR Business Partnering experience in a matrix organisation.
