Civil Engineer

INFORM3 are looking to appoint a Civil Engineer to join a construction project in Fermanagh, with a strong focus on formwork and reinforced concrete structures.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of structural works, ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency are achieved throughout the project lifecycle.
Civil Engineer Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate formwork and reinforced concrete activities on-site
- Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and reinforcement details
- Ensure accurate setting out and alignment of structural elements
- Liaise with site management, subcontractors, and design teams
- Monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to project schedules
- Implement quality control procedures for concrete works, including inspections and testing
- Prepare and review method statements, risk assessments, and technical documentation
- Identify and resolve technical and construction-related issues
- Assist in the planning and sequencing of formwork systems and pours
Civil Engineer Specification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in civil engineering, ideally within water or wastewater treatment projects
- Strong understanding of reinforced concrete structures, pipelines, and drainage systems
- Knowledge of environmental and regulatory requirements in the water sector
- Proficiency in engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D)
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organisational skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
