Job Description
SAP Payroll Lead - SAP S/4HANA
We are seeking a highly experienced SAP Payroll Lead to design and deliver compliant, scalable, and integrated payroll solutions within a Greenfield SAP S/4HANA transformation. This role is pivotal in ensuring accurate payroll execution, statutory compliance, and seamless integration with HR, Time, and Finance systems.
The Payroll Lead will hold end-to-end ownership of functional design, configuration, and assurance for SAP Payroll. Working closely with HR and Finance stakeholders, the role ensures that pay structures, statutory rules, and integrations are implemented to the highest standard, supporting operational efficiency, audit readiness, and regulatory confidence.
You will act as the functional authority for SAP Payroll, governing solution design and configuration while leading workshops to define pay structures, wage types, and statutory requirements. The role will oversee payroll simulations, mock runs, reconciliations, and cutover rehearsals to guarantee payroll readiness.
In addition, you will provide oversight for WRICEF development, ensure data migration accuracy, and support audit-ready payroll operations post-go-live. The Payroll Lead will also play a key role in mentoring consultants, uplifting delivery capability, and embedding payroll best practice into the wider programme.
