A rare opportunity has arisen for a Head of Events to join a highly regarded, private, and multi-faceted London venue with an established events business and significant growth potential.
This role is responsible for driving event sales, shaping commercial strategy, and leading a well‑established sales and planning team within a complex, high‑demands environment.
The opportunity
You will take ownership for proactive sales and planning of a diverse events portfolio spanning:
- Exclusive private and member‑led events
- Multi‑day conferences
- High‑value weddings
Working closely with senior stakeholders across F&B, operations, and membership, you will be instrumental in maximising revenue from all event spaces, refining strategy and enhancing overall event positioning.
The role
- Lead the proactive sales and planning function for all events
- Develop and execute a targeted commercial strategy to drive higher spend and repeat business
- Build and leverage existing client relationships and networks
- Act as a senior point of contact for VIP clients and key stakeholders
- Coach, develop, and elevate an experienced but under‑utilised team
- Drive performance through clear KPIs, reporting, and conversion metrics
- Influence internal culture and promote a more proactive, commercial mindset
The candidate
- Proven leadership experience within luxury events, hospitality, or private environments
- A strong network of clients and industry contacts
- A commercially driven mindset with a track record of winning high‑value business
- A natural leader – credible, engaging, and able to influence at all levels
- Comfortable operating in a complex, stakeholder‑heavy environment
- Strategic in approach, but hands‑on
