The Role
As a Principal Process Engineer within our Business Winning team, you will lead process engineering across complex bids and early‑stage project definition. This full‑time role is based at one of our main sites — Warrington (Cheshire), Preston (Lancashire), Leicester (Leicestershire), Newbury (Berkshire), or Bristol — with travel to other Cavendish Nuclear and customer locations as required. Hybrid working arrangements are available.
Day‑to‑day responsibilities
- Lead the process engineering elements of bids.
- Develop and deliver engineering scope, schedules, and resource plans.
- Ensure technical integrity, compliance, and quality.
- Produce and review technical reports and verification plans.
- Promote engineering best practice and mentor others.
Essential Experience
- Significant demonstrable experience in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Chartered Engineer status or working towards it.
- Experience managing teams delivering technical activities.
- Ability to interface with multiple disciplines and stakeholders.
- Strong communication and influencing skills.
Essential Qualifications
- Engineering degree (or equivalent) with significant experience.

The successful candidate must be a sole UK national who is able to achieve and maintain a Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
