Responsibilities
- Preparing accurate and timely cost estimates that reflect project requirements, site conditions, and client needs.
- Developing cost plans, order of magnitude budgets, and design-to-cost budgets.
- Analysing method-related costs and temporary works in collaboration with project teams.
- Compiling tender summaries, risk registers, and contributing to written methodologies and proposals.
- Presenting commercial strategies at adjudication meetings and handing over successful bids to delivery teams.
- Continuously seeking feedback and driving business improvement initiatives

About You
You’re an experienced estimator with a background in general civils, highways, pavements, drainage, earthworks, and structures. You bring:
- Proven experience estimating rates from first principles for large, complex infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with Method of Measurement and preparing Bills of Quantities.
- Strong knowledge of construction techniques, technologies, and risk management.
- Excellent IT and estimating software skills.
- A degree, HNC/HND, or equivalent relevant experience.
- A proactive, detail-oriented approach, with a passion for building relationships and driving continuous improvement
