Highly motivated Principal Process Architect to join a fast‑paced and evolving R&D environment. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring process integrity and managing interactions across complex process modules within cutting‑edge product development projects.
You will play a critical role in defining and delivering robust process strategies that support challenging technical objectives, ensuring product performance, reliability, and scalability for next‑generation technologies.
Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver robust process development activities across multiple modules
- Manage interactions between individual process steps to ensure overall process integrity
- Take ownership of process performance within assigned project areas
- Introduce new processes based on strong data analysis and risk assessment
- Maintain effective change control in a dynamic R&D environment
- Develop and implement process strategies aligned with the business technical roadmap
- Lead structured problem‑solving across cross‑functional process areas
- Ensure integrity and accuracy of all process documentation
- Assess and characterise the impact of process design on device performance
Qualifications
- Degree in a relevant physical science or engineering discipline
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in semiconductor processing (Si, SiGe, MEMS; III‑V/InP preferred)
- Hands‑on experience with wafer fabrication processes, including:
- Photolithography
- Dry and wet etching
- Strong understanding of how fabrication processes influence device performance
- Extensive experience in III‑V semiconductor processing (particularly InP)
- Understanding of interactions between wafer fabrication and epitaxial processes
- Deep knowledge of semiconductor physics and material science
- High proficiency in SPC and Six Sigma methodologies
