Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with project managers, technical leaders, design engineers, and clients to achieve positive project outcomes.
  • Engage in traditional advisory roles, Owner’s Engineer duties, client‑facing concept design, contractor‑facing detailed design, remediation, troubleshooting, installation support, and Lender’s Engineer/insurance/due diligence support.

About You

You will ideally be qualified with a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution, and be on route to professional registration as a Chartered Engineer with the Engineering Council and ICE. We are looking for individuals with experience in civil design over some or all of the following sectors:

  • Waterpower and Dams
  • Hydro and/or pumped storage hydro schemes
  • Advanced Digestion
  • Energy from Waste plants
  • Transmission and Distribution projects

You should be comfortable working within a full 3D environment using appropriate tools, within a common data environment, and able to produce technical specifications, designs, and reports. You will embody and support our values of client focus, designing with community in mind, collaboration, and service excellence. The role can be based in any of our UK offices, with a preference for Edinburgh, Newcastle, Redditch, and High Wycombe.
