Our client, an established environmental and planning consultancy, is urgently looking to appoint a Planning Consultant to join their team in Chester. The company holds an excellent reputation in the market and works on a wide variety of projects.
Key Requirements
- Demonstrable planning experience
- Chartered status with the RTPI or working towards this
- Previous project management experience
- Extensive experience in coordination of EIA's
- Proven ability to write professional reports
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinating planning applications for a range of client projects within the renewables sector including solar, wind, energy storage and hydro developments
- Coordinating EIA projects
- Managing projects and sub‑consultants
- Developing new business opportunities and preparing tenders
- Liaising with clients
