What you will do
- Within the team, this role will instil best practices, elevate outputs, and champion an insight-led culture that translates to actionable commercial growth
- Ensure the Marketing Science Research proposition is embedded into our ways of working and enhance the current skillset
- Ensure our clients are constructively challenged and that we’re always adding value
- Own and continuously improve the end-to-end digital customer experience to remove friction and unlock growth
- Analyse website performance to identify where customer intent is lost and commercial opportunities are missed
- Define and champion evidence-led hypotheses grounded in real user behaviour, data, and insight
- Translate insight into high-impact experiments that improve conversion, revenue, and customer lifetime value
- Create a culture of test‑and‑learn, ensuring every optimisation delivers measurable commercial outcomes
- Translate commercial objectives into prioritised experimentation roadmaps, turning complex business problems into testable questions with clear "what" and "why" rationales
- Move beyond the "what" to uncover the "how" and "why"—identifying subsurface friction and psychological gaps
- Resolve intent mismatches between ads and landing pages to ensure message relevance meets user expectations across the entire journey
- Interpret test results with uncompromised robustness, ensuring every conclusion is backed by absolute statistical confidence, so the resulting insight can pivot and refine future marketing strategy
- Synthesise every result into a refined future strategy, ensuring short‑term wins fuel long‑term growth
- Position Marketing Science as a driver of competitive advantage by identifying untapped trends and customer friction points before opportunities are missed
- Lead high‑level client conversations, translating technical analytic direction into compelling strategic narratives
- Proactively open numerous growth opportunities across performance marketing clients
- Support our clients to turn brand discovery into preference, intent, and future demand
- Maintain a rigorous investigative approach to bridge the gap between brand discovery and future demand
- Actively contribute to and learn from the broader Marketing Science team
Requirements
- Expert‑level GA4 analysis
- Proficiency in quantitative and qualitative analysis techniques
- Strong statistical knowledge regarding significance levels, p-values, Bayesian vs. Frequentist approaches and sample size calculation
- Practical experience with session recording and heatmapping tools
- Experience with industry standard testing tools
- A solution‑driven approach to challenges
- Marketing agency background is a significant bonus
- 5+ years in a similar CRO / Digital Experience / Marketing Science role
- Experience managing a team
