A Senior Quality Engineer is required to work for a large Oil & Gas company on an initial 6 month contract basis that has potential to be extended further.
The role will be working across Oil & Gas and New Energy projects and will require a strong Quality Assurance background aswell as experience within auditing.
Responsibilities
- As the Senior Quality Engineer, you will provide QA input to pre-qualifications and proposals as directed.
- Prepare and implement project quality plans and associated procedures.
- Ensure effective implementation of Quality Management System (QMS) requirements and contract quality requirements on projects.
- As the Senior Quality Engineer, you will be monitoring project compliance via audit and monitoring programmes.
- Communicating project issues to the Project/Study Manager.
- Provide checking and approval of discipline documents, complete interdisciplinary checking of documents where necessary.
- Provide QA and HSE input to engineering requisitions and enquiry packages.
- Evaluate/pre-qualify supplier/subcontractor QA and HSE requirements.
- Review supplier/subcontractor document submissions.
- As the Senior Quality Engineer, you will plan and participate in internal and external audits.
- Provide support, guidance, and advice to project personnel on QMS procedures, guides, processes and quality related matters.
- Provide input to development of procedures, guides, forms and checklists.
- Expediting and verifying QMS actions.
- Provide briefings, presentations, and inductions for QMS users.
- As the Senior Quality Engineer, you will ensure lessons learned and improvements are identified and reported during project execution.
- Ensure previous lessons learned are reviewed and relevant lessons are implemented during project initiation.
- Ensure that all work complies with the Contract Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality policies, and procedures in line with industry standards.
- As the Senior Quality Engineer, you will lead project Quality Investigations as required.

- Quality investigation reports, as required
Qualifications
Requires a strong Quality Assurance background as well as experience within auditing.
