Salary: £40,000 – £50,000

This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the UK’s leading RIBA chartered practices who offer award-winning design services to the industrial, retail, commercial, and leisure sectors. They are on the lookout for a talented Principal Designer to join their team in Leicester.

Responsibilities

• Help deliver technical projects from planning stages through to new build delivery
• Implement the requirements of Building safety Act 2022 and Secondary Legislations 2023
• Lead the design team and other project team members, as well liaising with clients
• Carry out site visits and ensure projects comply with regulations and high ethical standards are achieved

Qualifications

• Relevant degree within architecture
• Strong experience working within a health and safety, design, or project management role
• Strong interest in health and safety issues and risk management
• Strong attention to detail
• Experience with The Building Safety Act 2022 and Secondary Legislations 2023
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Live within a commutable distance to the Leicester area
