Senior Security Engineer

Synapri is working with a London-based technology‑driven organisation to hire a Security Engineer who will support security operations, governance, and compliance across a modern cloud environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and respond to security alerts, incidents, and threats.
• Manage Microsoft 365 security tools (Defender, Purview, Sentinel, Entra ID).
• Support ISO 27001 compliance and broader security frameworks.
• Assist with third‑party risk assessments and penetration testing.
• Contribute to security policies, controls, and incident response.
• Promote security awareness across the business.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity or security operations.
• Strong experience with the Microsoft security stack (Defender, Sentinel, Entra ID, Intune).
• Good knowledge of cloud security and frameworks such as ISO 27001 and NIST.
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.

Location

This is a hybrid position in Central London.
