Senior Mechanical Estimator
Go Fix Mechanical & Drainage Services is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Estimator to join our growing team. This role requires a highly skilled professional who can accurately estimate project costs and contribute to the successful bidding and planning of mechanical projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed and accurate mechanical estimates for projects.
- Conduct cost analysis and quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and suppliers to ensure estimates are comprehensive.
- Review and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations.
- Identify potential risks and provide value engineering solutions.
- Maintain current knowledge of industry standards, pricing trends, and market conditions.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Senior Mechanical Estimator within the construction or mechanical services industry.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical packages including HVAC systems and plant rooms.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Proficient with estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Relevant qualifications in mechanical engineering, construction, or related fields preferred.
