Area Sales Engineer Industrial Electrical Control & Automation.
Responsibilities
- Sell high-quality industrial automation products such as PLC, control gear, switchgear and circuit protection, variable speed drives, sensors, HMIs and process instrumentation to OEM, end-user, system integrator and panel builder markets throughout the North of the Tyne area.
- Achieve defined sales targets and develop personal plans to meet objectives.
- Manage and grow an existing portfolio of accounts and continually identify new business opportunities.
- Maintain strong organisational and communication skills, working effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Proven track record as a Sales Engineer, Area Sales Manager or Technical Salesperson in the Industrial Automation industry.
- Strong sales experience and ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Formal qualification in Electrical/Electronic disciplines (ONC/HND or above) is desirable but not essential.
- Formal sales skill development is a plus.
- Competence with Microsoft Office and related software.
