PR & Communications Account Director / Senior Account Director (Technology)

Location: United Kingdom

Working Pattern: Hybrid – 2 days per week in the London office

With a growing international footprint, including expansion into New York, the agency supports a diverse client base spanning startups, scaleups, investors, and institutions across multiple global markets. Its approach is grounded in thoughtful storytelling, high‑quality media engagement, and a genuine respect for journalism.

The Opportunity

This is a key hire within a high‑performing and values‑driven agency at a pivotal stage of growth.

You will take ownership of key client relationships from the outset, leading delivery across accounts while managing and developing a team. Alongside client work, you will contribute to the broader direction of the business, including input into strategy, operations, and new business activity.

The role offers significant scope for impact, responsibility, and progression within a collaborative and intellectually curious environment.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategic direction and delivery of multiple client accounts
  • Build trusted, senior‑level relationships with clients across sectors
  • Develop and deliver media strategies that generate high‑impact coverage
  • Drive proactive media engagement and maintain strong journalist relationships
  • Manage, mentor, and develop junior team members
  • Contribute to business growth through new business and organic account development
  • Support wider agency initiatives across operations and strategy

Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrable experience managing client relationships within a PR agency environment
  • Strong background in technology or technology‑adjacent communications
  • Proven ability to secure high‑quality, top‑tier media coverage
  • Experience leading and developing teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong understanding of UK, US, and European media landscapes
  • Interest in purpose, emerging technologies, including AI, and their broader impact
  • Commercial awareness with the ability to identify growth opportunities
  • One‑month paid sabbatical after four years’ service
