We are recruiting for a Temporary Scheme Manager to support residents aged 55+ across a housing association patch in Devon. This role covers both sheltered schemes and dispersed properties, focusing on delivering high-quality, resident-centred services that promote independence, wellbeing, and community engagement.

This is a patch-based role, involving regular face-to-face resident contact, with some flexibility to complete administrative duties from home or the office. The position is available for an immediate start.

Key Responsibilities of a Scheme Manager

  • Carry out regular wellbeing and keeping‑in‑touch visits with residents
  • Conduct compliance and tenancy‑related visits, including ASB follow‑ups where required
  • Identify and respond appropriately to safeguarding concerns
  • Manage and resolve anti‑social behaviour (ASB) in line with policy
  • Support residents to maintain independence within a safe living environment
  • Maintain accurate case notes and records
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams and external agencies
  • Cover a defined patch of approximately 100+ properties across schemes and dispersed homes

About You

  • Experience working with older people (55+) within independent living or sheltered housing
  • Confident working independently across a geographical patch
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good understanding of housing management, safeguarding, and ASB
  • Able to use initiative while following policies and procedures
  • Enhanced DBS (essential)
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential)
