Senior Project Manager – Nuclear (Egis UK)

Location: UK‑wide

About The Role

You will support key clients to deliver transformative infrastructure programmes across the UK. Reporting to the Nuclear Project Lead, you’ll be at the heart of project management delivery, working with senior stakeholders, delivery teams and supply chain partners to deliver high‑quality project management services and performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead pre‑contract strategy, baseline development and safety integration.
  • Scope projects, build cost & feasibility studies, prepare business cases, tender documents.
  • Identify risks, evaluate tender documentation and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Lead post‑contract delivery and contract administration.
  • Provide leadership, guidance and support to project managers.
  • Drive benefits realisation, manage cash flow and deliver projects to schedule and quality requirements.
  • Lead multi‑disciplinary teams, manage change orders, dispute resolution and contract compliance.
  • Administer NEC3/4 contracts, drive budget control, payment valuations and monthly certifications.
  • Champion process improvement, maintain databases, and contribute to governance reviews.
  • Leverage cross‑sector insights to identify opportunities.

What We’re Looking For

  • Extensive project management experience.
  • Experience with NEC4 contracts and multi‑disciplined teams.
  • Stakeholder management and CDM knowledge.
  • Understanding of safety and environmental legislation.
  • Strong commercial acumen and risk‑management skills.
  • Technical knowledge of the UK power sector preferred (construction or utility experience acceptable).
  • Right to work in the UK.

Essential Qualifications

  • Degree or HNC in an engineering discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Right to work in the UK.

Desirable Qualifications

  • NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent.
  • Membership of IET/IAM leading to Chartered status.
  • Management qualification such as APM, IPMA Level C, Prince2 or PMP.
  • NEC3/4 accreditation.
