Alliance Personnel are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join one of clients based in Birmingham.
JOB PURPOSE
To be responsible for writing and cooking new products based on product briefs.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
- To write, cook and present new product recipes in preparation for management approval.
- To be responsible for tweaking and fine‑tuning products to meet business needs.
- To research and develop new product concepts relevant to the business needs.
- To be able to communicate tweaks in recipes so management can make decisions on product viability.
- To be responsible for bench marking existing products against competitors' alternatives.
- To be responsible for value engineering current products to meet an ever‑demanding market.
SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES
- Must be a trained chef to a senior level.
- Must have experience of developing recipes and products ideally for a manufacturing business.
- Must have a passion and interest in food.
- Must be computer literate.
- Must be comfortable with handling and tasting all types of food.
HOURS OF WORK
Flexible 8:30am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday
