About the role

Moxie People are partnering with a well‑established housing provider as they welcome a new Gas Team Lead into their friendly, high‑performing M&E team. This role is key to keeping 5,000 homes safe, warm, and compliant.

You'll lead a team of 9 Gas Engineers, balancing supportive supervision with hands‑on technical work when needed. Your time will be split between home working, the office, and being out on site - meeting your engineers, carrying out QA checks, solving complex technical challenges, and keeping compliance running smoothly.

You'll also play a huge part in maintaining excellent access rates for annual gas servicing and you'll have full autonomy for day‑to‑day gas safety decisions.

About you

You'll thrive here if you're empathetic, steady under pressure, and confident guiding others. You'll need:

• ACS domestic gas qualifications: CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1
• Experience delivering or supporting domestic gas repairs, servicing or installs
• Ability to supervise, mentor and motivate engineers
• Confidence to make safe technical decisions and manage quality, recalls and compliance
• Commercial gas tickets or wider experience across installs/repairs are a bonus, but not essential
• Full UK Driving Licence
