Job Description:
Senior Project Manager – Systems Integration – Electrical / Controls – Cheshire
Salary: £65‑70k plus £6k car allowance and bonus.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver projects for a systems integrator within automation, electrical engineering and controls.
- Work under contracts such as NEC or bespoke contracts (essential requirement).
- Understand, review and communicate stakeholder requirements.
- Establish resource needs for each project stage and engage with engineering teams to schedule and assign tasks.
- Troubleshoot technical issues.
- Monitor and control stage payments & costs to stay within contract obligations & budget limits.
- Assess project issues and identify solutions to meet productivity, quality and customer goals.
- Follow up the project during installation and commissioning stages.
- Spend approximately 25% of the time on customer sites.
Qualifications
- Proven track record of delivering automation & controls projects on the supplier side.
- Technical background within automation, electrical or controls.
- Bespoke project management qualification recognised – preferred.
