Despatch Line Leader
Shift: 1800-0600- continental shift, working 7 shifts over a 14 day period
Salary: £32,613.12
Becketts Foods is a leading food processing company, operating in the CV2 area of Coventry since 1983. Due to internal promotion Becketts Foods are recruiting a line leader for our despatch department. The role is working in a chilled environment, you will ensure accurate and efficient line performance through the team, with compliance to both food safety and Health & Safety.
Responsibilities
- Paperwork compliance
- Ensuring all orders are picked, packed and despatched accurately and on time
- Meet KPI targets
- Adhere to labour plan
- Reporting of all issues/errors quickly and efficiently
- Health and Safety compliance
- Food safety compliance
Knowledge and Experience required
- Knowledge of a production line is essential
- Food Safety Level 2 desirable
- Experience of managing a small team
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good organisational skills
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure
- Knowledge of health and safety policies and procedures
- An understanding of Microsoft packages, including Excel
