Role

As Senior Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and securing work that underpins the MOD’s major digital transformation programmes. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute directly to Envitia’s continued growth across the UK’s most strategically important defence initiatives.

Operating at an early stage of the opportunity lifecycle, you will engage closely with MOD stakeholders, Front Line Commands, delivery organisations and prime contractors to influence programme direction and align Envitia’s capabilities with emerging customer needs. You will own the identification, qualification and shaping of funded, addressable opportunities, creating clear and compelling routes to winning work.

A key part of the role involves developing a strong understanding of MOD budget ownership, investment cycles and approval pathways. Using this insight, you will position Envitia effectively within complex delivery ecosystems, securing meaningful workshare on high‑impact defence programmes and acting as a senior ambassador for the business across the UK Defence landscape.

You will operate with a high degree of autonomy and influence, owning strategic pursuits from early engagement through capture and contract award.

Security Clearance Requirements

The successful candidate must be eligible to obtain and maintain a SC level security clearance although a DV is preferred.

Location

The role will require travel to our Horsham offices 2 days a month as well as attendance at either partner or customer site to participate in customer workshops or collaborative capture management activities for specific sales opportunities.
