Project Manager (Independent Living)

Salary £48,226 – £50,269 per annum

Hours 37 hours per week

Contract Fixed Term Contract/Secondment to 29th February 2028

We are looking for an individual who is skilled in project management for a programme of service changes in a local government environment and has a background in change management or telecare services. Flexible availability is required to accommodate workload peaks.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver a programme of defined changes, preparing relevant committee and board papers, investigating options and procurement.
• Work closely with colleagues across the council and the immediate service team.
• Ensure quality services for customers.
• Work primarily from home, with occasional office or site attendance; travel costs will be met by the council.

Qualifications and skills:

• Project management experience in a local government setting.
• Background in change management or telecare services.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours to meet workload peaks.
