We’re excited to be exclusively partnering with a well‑established, growing business within the printing industry to recruit a Team Leader – Customer Excellence & Lead Generation.

This is a newly created role, following an internal promotion, highlighting the company’s strong commitment to progression and development of its staff.

This is a high‑impact role where you will take ownership of a small but busy internal team, with a clear mandate to improve performance, drive structure, and unlock significant untapped sales potential.

It would be highly advantageous if you had a background of working in a print manufacturing environment – this could be commercial print, signage, large format or even packaging.

The Role

Reporting into senior leadership, you will:

  • Manage the day‑to‑day performance, workload, and development of the internal customer sales/service team
  • Bring structure, accountability, and direction to a team that requires hands‑on leadership and coaching
  • Create and implement a clear “plan of attack” to improve both service levels and sales output
  • Drive lead generation activity across phone, email, and LinkedIn
  • Convert existing data into qualified opportunities for the external Business Development team
  • Oversee order processing, queries, and customer experience across a busy operational function
  • Maintain accurate CRM reporting and pipeline visibility

What We’re Looking For

This role requires a strong, confident leader who can balance people management with commercial delivery.

You’ll likely have:

  • Experience leading or supervising a small team in customer service, telesales, or sales support
  • A proven ability to improve underperformance and bring structure to a team
  • Strong background in B2B lead generation or sales pipeline development
  • Confidence managing different personalities and driving accountability
  • A proactive, hands‑on approach with the ability to “roll up your sleeves”
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Experience using CRM systems and managing sales activity
