Engineering Lead – AI Product. London (Hybrid - 2 days onsite) | £95–140k + Equity

Most engineering roles ask you to build features.

This one asks you to build the product.

You’ll join a fast-growing AI startup (~25 people, VC-backed) building agentic systems that automate how enterprise companies win business. Already live with enterprise level customers, now scaling hard.

This is a product-led environment - no PMs, no layers. Engineers own what they build end-to-end.

You’ll lead a small team, but more importantly:

• Make key technical and product decisions
• Work directly with customers
• Stay hands‑on enough to keep credibility

Tech is backend-leaning (Go preferred / Rust OR Python welcomed), React frontend, AWS - with a big push into AI-driven systems.

They’re not looking for a manager.

They want someone who:

• Has worked in a startup / scale‑up
• Has built and owned products end-to-end
• Brings energy, urgency and a “get it done” mindset
• Still thinks like an engineer, not just a leader
