Location: Slough, London

A large secondary school based in Slough is looking for a business studies teacher. The position is full‑time, but part‑time applicants are also welcome. Working hours are from 08:30 am to 03:30 pm. Salary will match London Fringe MPS/UPS. School has available parking spaces.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging business studies lessons, helping students understand key concepts such as enterprise, finance, marketing, and operations.
• Support students’ academic progress by developing their analytical thinking, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
• Encourage students to apply their knowledge to real‑world business scenarios, fostering entrepreneurial thinking.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students are motivated to achieve their full potential.
• Contribute to the wider school community and uphold high expectations for behaviour and achievement.

Qualifications and Person Specification

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• A relevant degree in business, economics, or a related subject
• Excellent subject knowledge with the ability to inspire and motivate students
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Approachable and encouraging
