Night Shift Transport Supervisor

Streamline Recruitment is currently recruiting a Night Shift Supervisor to oversee night operations in a busy waste logistics environment. The role involves leading a team, managing workflows, and ensuring efficient waste collection, transport, and compliance with health & safety and environmental regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead a team of drivers and operatives during the night shift
• Manage workflows to ensure timely and efficient waste collection and transport
• Ensure compliance with health & safety, environmental, and operational standards
• Oversee equipment checks, maintenance, and general site standards
• Resolve on-site issues promptly, making decisions under pressure
• Report operational performance and escalate issues as required
• Support team development through guidance and training
• Collaborate with other teams to improve processes and operational efficiency

Candidate Requirements

• Experience in waste management, logistics, or transport operations
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Good understanding of health & safety and compliance standards
• Ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure
• Physically able to work in an active, fast-paced environment

Shift: Sunday – Thursday, 22:00 – 07:30; 21 days + Bank Holidays.
