Salary: Grade 3, £25,583 per annum. £13.26 per hour

37 hours per week, working the full year

The Aspire Federation has four sites based in Hindley green, Bryn, Abram and Leigh. Whilst the post will initially be based at one site, please be advised that the post holder may be required to work across all of the federated sites.

The Role

The Aspire Federation is seeking to appoint a forward‑thinking Business Support Apprentice. The successful candidate will provide quality administration support under the direction of the School Business Manager, helping to ensure the efficient administration of the federations central team. This role requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organisational ability to meet statutory deadlines and the capacity to work under pressure. The successful applicant will work independently, display a high level of customer service, be flexible and able to keep accurate and detailed records.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and maintaining accurate documents and correspondence for the School Business Manager.
  • Assisting with the coordination of the statutory processes required by the central team.
  • Providing support that helps the central team meet operational targets.

Other Requirements

The successful applicant will be required to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DS/DBS) check. The role is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure procedure plus Child and Adult barred list check. The employer is committed to safeguarding.
