Security Officer

MAN Commercial Protection is looking for an experienced Corporate Security Officer located at a prestigious building in Milton Keynes.

Shift pattern on a two‑week rotation:

Week 1: Monday & Wednesday 17:00-08:00, Friday 17:00-07:00, Saturday 19:00-07:00, Sunday 19:00-08:00

Week 2: Tuesday & Thursday 17:00-08:00 and Saturday & Sunday 07:00-19:00.

Pay rate: £12.60ph

Main Responsibilities

• Reception duties.
• Greet visitors and ensure relevant security procedures are carried out.
• Write accurate incident reports in a timely manner and provide a visible high‑profile security presence.
• Knowledge of security systems including life safety systems.
• Check alarms and log information.
• Respond to and deal with all site incidents and emergencies.
• Patrol the premises.
• Access and egress control.

The ideal candidate must have

• Hold a valid SIA DS or SG and CCTV licence.
• Have a checkable 5‑year work history.
• Be reliable with flexibility being key.
• Have excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Be able to work as part of a team.
