Job Title: Business Lecturer

Location: West Yorkshire

Type: Temporary – Part Time

Rate: 30 – 35 per hour

This is a part time temporary role to start 14th April until the end of June.

They require someone 3 days per week, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (8:30am – 4:30pm).

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and effective teaching on Business Level 2 (Pearson)
• Deliver engaging and effective teaching on Management & Administration T Level – Year 1 (City & Guilds)
• Plan, prepare, and assess learning materials in line with awarding body requirements
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to support achievement
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and attainment
• Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Participate in departmental meetings and quality assurance processes as required

Requirements

• Relevant teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent)
• Degree or equivalent qualification in Business or a related subject
• Experience delivering Pearson BTEC Business and/or T Level programmes
• Strong classroom management and organisational skills
• Ability to engage and motivate learners of varying abilities
• Up-to-date knowledge of curriculum and awarding body standards
• Candidates must have a current DBS

Desirable

• Industry experience within business, management, or administration
• Experience working within further education or sixth form settings
