Role
HUMINT Desk Officers are responsible for curating and contextualizing timely IC HUMINT reporting. The role requires validation of HUMINT reporting by coordinating with regional offices and a daily informal round robin brief to the DDI/ADDI. Knowledge of IC databases and tools and ability to brief senior defense/government clients is required.
Minimum Requirements
- SECURITY CLEARANCE: A current & active Top Secret/SCI with CI poly clearance
- EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of experience
- EXPERIENCE:
- 8 or more years experience with IC HUMINT reporting
- Knowledge of DoD HUMINT Policy, Directives, and Doctrine
- Knowledge of IC databases and tools
Work Schedule / Shift Requirements
This position operates on a 35-day rotating schedule consisting of weekday and weekend coverage. Analysts support 8-hour weekday shifts and 12-hour weekend shifts, totaling 19 shifts per cycle, with 9 scheduled days off and 7 off/on-call days.
Weekday Shifts (8 Hours)
- Day: 0900-1400
- Swing: 1400-2200
- Mid: 2200-0600
Weekend Shifts (12 Hours)
- Day: 0600-1800
- Mid: 1800-0600
Rotation Pattern
- Week 1: Day shift
- Week 2: Swing shift
- Week 3: Mid shift (Monday-Sunday)
- Week 4: Off / On-Call Availability Required
- Week 5: Weekend coverage only (Saturday & Sunday)
- Week 6: Off / On-Call Availability Required
On-Call Requirement
During designated off weeks, analysts are expected to maintain availability to provide coverage in support of mission needs. On-call support may be required with limited notice.
