About the Role
The Gas Compliance Officer plays a crucial role in Lambeth’s Compliance Team. The post holder will act as the lead point of contact for gas servicing issues within a specified housing area and will attend court on behalf of the Council under delegated duty to obtain warrants for gas entry.
Responsibilities
The Officer will be responsible for ensuring the Borough’s gas safety compliance, attending court proceedings to obtain gas entry warrants, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to address gas servicing matters.
Qualifications / Skills
- Proven front‑line experience working within a team of four in a role closely related to Gas Compliance.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work within a team.
- Good attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
- Experience working with customers, stakeholders, members, and colleagues.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
