Site Manager/Project Manager – Roads & Sewers

We’re recruiting for an experienced Site Manager/Project Manager in Leeming Bar, DL7 9FD with strong roads and sewers experience to join a leading civil engineering and groundworks contractor on a permanent basis. You’ll oversee the delivery of infrastructure works on new-build housing developments, ensuring quality, safety and programme performance across all R&S activities.

The Role

• Manage day‑to‑day operations for roads, sewers, drainage and associated groundworks
• Coordinate trades, subcontractors and materials
• Maintain standards of health & safety, quality and compliance
• Ensure works are delivered on schedule and in line with client specifications
• Liaise with site teams, engineers and project managers to keep projects progressing smoothly

About You

• Proven experience managing roads & sewers on residential schemes
• Strong understanding of civils, drainage and adoptable standards (S38/S104)
• Confident coordinating teams and maintaining high site standards
• Excellent communication and organisational skills

Requirements

• CSCS (Managers card preferred)
• SMSTS
• Full UK driving licence
