Job Title: Data Analyst (Security Clearance Eligible required)

Job Type: Full Time Permanent

Location: Remote / Occasional Travel to client sites across South West England

Salary: £35K Base + Benefits including private health care, bonus, pension + more

Client: Consultancy client who work across Defence, Public Sector & Government Administration

Data Analyst – Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial quality assurance reviews of assurance reports to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency
• Maintain and enhance data quality within master supplier assurance databases
• Support the management and continuous improvement of data processes and standards
• Maintain and develop Power BI dashboards and reporting tools, ensuring they provide clear and actionable insights
• Deliver Power BI training and user support to stakeholders where required
• Assist in identifying opportunities to automate and optimise data processes, including the use of scripting tools
• Collaborate with wider teams to ensure data is fit for purpose and aligned to programme requirements

Data Analyst – Skills & Experience

• Experience working with data quality, data analysis, or assurance processes
• Proficiency in Power BI, including dashboard creation, data modelling, and reporting
• Working knowledge of Python for data manipulation, automation, or analysis
• Proven experience using Python’s Pandas library for the above is highly desirable
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify data inconsistencies and errors
• Ability to communicate data insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Familiarity with data governance and data management best practices
• Previously held Security Clearance
• Experience working in a consultancy or assurance environment
• Understanding of information assurance, governance, or compliance frameworks
• Exposure to database management tools or cloud-based data platforms
