A leading and fast-growing FinTech organisation is seeking a proactive Software Quality Assurance Engineer to help ensure the reliability, security, and performance of its client platform. This is an exciting opportunity to work on scalable, high-impact technology.

Hybrid | Taunton • Full-time | Permanent

Salary: £38,000 - £45,000 per annum

The Opportunity

You'll be instrumental in embedding quality throughout the development lifecycle—ensuring robust, secure, and high-performing systems from design through to release.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in QA or software testing within a delivery-focused environment
• Understanding of JavaScript, particularly in test automation contexts
• Experience with Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) and writing clear test scenarios
• Strong skills across test analysis, preparation, and execution
• Ability to break down requirements into user stories and identify edge cases
• Detail-driven mindset with a pragmatic approach to balancing quality and delivery
• Confidence to challenge and improve existing processes
