Job Overview

AP Personnel have been provided with exclusivity by our client to recruit for a Full Time Ma tre d' to join a high-end fine dining establishment based in Jersey.

The Ma tre d' is the first point of contact for every guest and plays a pivotal role in ensuring an exceptional dining experience. The role involves welcoming guests at the door, acting as a floating presence throughout service, engaging with diners and building rapport, ensuring satisfaction at every stage, supporting the management team, recognising VIP and regular guests, and upholding the restaurant's high standards of hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests at the door and act as the first point of contact throughout service.
• Engage with diners, build rapport and monitor satisfaction.
• Support management, recognising and acknowledging VIP and regular guests.
• Uphold high standards of hospitality.

Qualifications

• Solid background in silver service/fine dining.
• Excellent knowledge of fine‑dining produce.
• Ability to recognise VIP patrons and provide personalised service.
• Willingness to relocate to Jersey; UK/EU citizens are eligible.
