DevOps Engineer – Location: Frimley, London, Leeds, Manchester – Salary: Competitive
Role Description
We are looking for experienced DevOps Engineers to join our teams following continuous growth and success in the UK Defence sector, working across a range of customers and projects that truly make a difference.
Core Duties
- Demonstrate experience working in a multifunctional team across Infrastructure / DevOps / SRE
- Utilise experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
- Experience with Cloud technologies such as GCP or Azure (required)
- Appreciation of Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD tooling
- Scripting responsibilities with languages such as Shell, Bash, or Python
- Demonstrate great communication and problem solving skills, and a desire to learn new technologies
- Working in an Agile environment (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, XP)
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Working with Configuration Management tools such as Puppet, Chef, or Ansible
- Working with Docker and container runtime platforms such as Kubernetes, OpenShift, Marathon / Mesos
- Working knowledge of Linux, networking, routing & firewalls
