Role: Laser Programmer
Location: Sheffield
Salary: £30,000-£40,000 (DOE)
We’re supporting a well‑established engineering and manufacturing business in Sheffield who are looking to bring in a Laser Programmer to join their growing team.
The Role
- Creating and optimising laser cutting programs
- Using Lantek to prepare accurate cutting files
- Nesting components to maximise material efficiency
- Working closely with production teams to ensure smooth workflow
- Troubleshooting programming or machine issues when required
What You’ll Need
- Experience as a Laser Programmer or similar role
- Strong CAD/CAM skills, Lantek experience is desirable
- Understanding of sheet metal fabrication
- Good attention to detail and problem‑solving ability
