Our client, a specialist in the design and manufacture of advanced composite structures, based in Chippenham, are currently looking for a Project Engineer to join their growing team on a permanent basis.

They are passionate about pushing the boundaries of composites technology and delivering cutting‑edge solutions to their clients.
They are seeking a motivated and dynamic Project Engineer to join the team and help to deliver their early stage R&D projects. You will be responsible for the design, development and project management of innovative and challenging advanced composite products and processes for high profile customers across the performance automotive and aerospace industries. You will be working with thier consortium partners to develop technology that enables the end users to meet their technical and commercial requirements.
This means a mix of desk based work and hands‑on practical work as well as managing team members, resources and suppliers to deliver the R&D work within these projects, having a direct impact on the future growth potential of the business by developing our next generation of products.
You should be a highly capable individual with excellent attention to detail, methodical approach, a good Engineering background with a sound understanding and ability to apply fundamental Engineering first‑principles, and a desire to deliver the best possible solution at all times.
You will be responsible for liaising with all key internal and external stakeholders in the business, including customers and suppliers, to ensure that these products are manufactured and delivered to the customer's requirements, often in challenging timeframes.
