We have a brand new opportunity for a Cyber Security Manager to lead and manage the organisation’s cyber security function, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information assets. A core responsibility of this role is to lead the implementation of a Cyber Security Improvement Programme, defined as part of a recent Cyber Security Maturity Assessment.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Serve as the programme lead for the Cyber Security Improvement Programme, ensuring initiatives identified during the organisation’s maturity assessment are delivered on time, within scope and to required quality standards.
- Lead the development and maintenance of cyber security policies, standards and procedures aligned to recognised industry frameworks.
- Oversee the management of security tools, technologies and platforms including monitoring, SIEM, endpoint protection, identity security and vulnerability management.
- Coordinate cross‑departmental initiatives to implement security controls, processes and technology improvements.
- Champion a culture of cyber security awareness across the organisation.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a senior cyber security role, such as Cyber Security Manager or Security Lead.
- Experience delivering cyber security improvement programmes or security transformation initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of cyber security frameworks, including NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF) 2.0.
- Experience managing third‑party suppliers.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent report writing skills.
