Our client, Rotational Moulding Group is a well:established and growing plastic manufacturing business, operating across three sites in the North:West since 1973. They are now seeking a Project Engineer to support projects across their full lifecycle.

Role and Responsibilities

Reporting to the Senior Project Engineer you will play a key role in ensuring delivery is on time, to specification and commercially effective. This is a varied, hands:on position involving project coordination, liaison with the production and purchasing teams and suppliers and maintaining project documentation in line with ISO quality standards. You will also be involved in product sampling, inspection, and facilitation of the introduction of new products into the manufacturing process including arranging and leading sampling and training sessions. This role offers real scope to learn, grow and make an impact within a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate projects across their full lifecycle with timely delivery and adherence to specification.
  • Collaborate with production, purchasing teams and external suppliers; maintain project documentation in line with ISO quality standards.
  • Engage in product sampling, inspection and facilitate introduction of new products into the manufacturing process, including arranging and leading sampling and training sessions.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Real energy and enthusiasm; hands-on, curious and eager to learn.
  • Highly organised with excellent time management and a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
  • Solid grounding in engineering principles (via qualifications and/or experience).
  • Competent with basic hand tools; able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong IT skills, including MS Word and Excel; familiarity with manufacturing systems, bill of materials and stock codes is beneficial.
  • Experience with 3D CAD (ideally SolidWorks), 3D printing or CNC machining is advantageous; training can be provided for the right candidate.
