Role overview

As a Data Centre / Critical Site Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining highly resilient systems where uptime is paramount. Working within a professional and safety-focused environment, you will gain hands-on experience across critical power and infrastructure systems, supported by an experienced engineering and management team.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive works in line with agreed schedules
  • Complete all maintenance tasks to high technical and professional standards
  • Produce clear, accurate technical reports and documentation
  • Utilise company systems to ensure contractual compliance and accurate record-keeping
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues, management, and clients
  • Provide first-line out-of-hours call-out support when required
  • Escalate site incidents promptly and professionally
  • Supervise subcontractors, ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently
  • Support management with quotations for additional or remedial works
  • Attend team meetings, briefings, and training sessions
  • Submit accurate weekly timesheets
  • Maintain strict compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards

Candidate requirements

Qualifications & Authorisations

  • Level 2 and Level 3 Electrical qualifications
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • HVAP and/or LVAP authorisation
