We are working with an energy start-up whose mission is to make energy cleaner and promote sustainable practices that benefit the planet. They are looking for a Software Engineer to build and enhance their web applications. You’ll play a pivotal role in writing clear, responsive code, taking ownership of the UI, and applying a strong understanding of mobile-first design principles.

What you’ll be doing:

Use customer Feedback to develop the UI
Work with other software engineers to ensure seamless integration with services and APIs
Troubleshoot and resolve UI bugs, performance issues

What we’re looking for:

3+ years’ commercial Software engineer experience
Strong attention to detail
Understanding of responsive and mobile-first design principles.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a small team.

Nice to have:

Experience with Python, Postgres, REST APIs, or other backend frameworks
Knowledge/ previous use of AI to aid with timing and planning
Experience in start-up environments is preferred but not essential
Familiarity with build tools (Webpack, Vite), Git, or (Docker).
Salary Up to £50,000
Hybrid workingin Bristol Area – onsite Mon & Thurs
