MCS Group is working exclusively with a highly successful insurance business with a small but seriously capable tech team in Belfast. They’re punching well above their weight and they’re looking for a Senior .Net Developer who wants real ownership, influence and the chance to build meaningful systems from scratch.
This isn’t a maintenance role. You’ll help shape architecture, design and deliver cloud-first complex applications end to end; from concept through to release for this international business. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders, mentor junior engineers as the Belfast team continues to scale, and play a key role in driving modern engineering practices.
What they’re looking for:
- The Senior Software Engineer will have considerable experience across C#, .NET / .NET Core, SQL Server and modern web technologies.
- You’ll have strong Azure experience (App Services, PaaS, Azure SQL, DevOps, serverless)
- You will be experienced in building APIs and scalable, cloud-hosted solutions
- Comfortable working in agile teams and dealing with ambiguity
- You consider yourself as someone who takes ownership, solves problems and raises the bar for those around you. You’ll get lots of autonomy in this role.
- Up to £75,000 with a leading benefits package which includes a share scheme, 38 days’ leave (including bank holidays) and company pension contribution of up to 16%.
