Supplier Analyst – Analytics & Insights

Bellrock’s Analytics & Insights function transforms complex estate, operational and supplier data into meaningful intelligence that drives performance improvement across public sector and commercial portfolios. As an Analyst with strong Microsoft technology capability, you will play a key role in analysing supplier performance, compliance and operational data (particularly within Local Authority environments or with transferrable skills) to generate actionable insights that improve service delivery, governance, value for money and risk management.
Working on one contract with multiple stakeholders, you will help ensure supplier data is accurate, transparent and performance‑driven, enabling better commercial and operational decision‑making. This role blends advanced Microsoft data capability with supplier performance analysis and public sector understanding, ensuring insights translate into measurable outcomes for clients and communities.

You Will
- Analyse complex supplier and FM operational datasets.
- Develop automated reporting and performance dashboards.
- Support governance, compliance monitoring and performance frameworks.
- Translate data into insight that supports contract management and service improvement.
- Contribute to scalable analytics solutions using Microsoft technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse supplier KPI, SLA and performance data across multiple contracts and service lines.
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards for operational, commercial and governance reporting.
- Utilise Microsoft Fabric to manage, model and transform large datasets across multiple sources.
- Build automated workflows using Power Automate to streamline reporting and validation processes.
- Support monthly and quarterly performance reporting cycles for Local Authority clients.
- Identify trends, underperformance risks, compliance gaps and improvement opportunities.
- Validate data integrity and challenge inconsistencies in supplier submissions.
- Provide structured insight commentary to support contract reviews and performance meetings.
- Collaborate with FM teams, supply chain partners and client stakeholders to support data‑driven decision‑making.
- Contribute to the development of standardised analytics frameworks across public sector portfolios.
- Maintain clear documentation, governance controls and data quality standards.

- Strong analytical capability with the ability to interpret supplier, financial and operational datasets.
- Advanced proficiency in Power BI (data modelling, DAX, visualisation best practice).
- Experience working with Microsoft Fabric, data lakes or structured data environments.
- Experience building automated processes using Power Automate.
- Strong Excel capability (Power Query, data modelling).
- Understanding of performance management frameworks, KPIs and SLAs.
- Ability to translate complex datasets into clear, non‑technical insight.
- Strong attention to data integrity and governance standards.
Experience & Expertise
- Proven experience in data analysis or performance reporting roles.
- Experience analysing supplier performance data within FM, property, housing, infrastructure or public services.
- Experience working for or alongside Local Authorities or public sector organisations.
- Understanding of public sector governance, compliance frameworks and performance reporting structures.
- Experience supporting contract management or commercial oversight environments.
- Familiarity with CAFM/IWMS systems (Concerto or similar desirable).
Communication & Ways of Working
- Confident engaging with contract managers, suppliers and client stakeholders.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to provide structured narrative commentary alongside dashboards.
- Well‑organised with the ability to manage multiple reporting cycles and deadlines.
- Comfortable working at client sites in and around Wakefield.

Working arrangements

In this role, the successful candidate would be required to work from the London Paddington office and work two days a week with the team, and the rest of the week can be worked from home.
