Software Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Software Developer for a growing Software house.

You’ll have the opportunity to work in a close-knit, collaborative Development Team, working on some complex projects, where problem solving is of high importance.

• ASP.NET MVC / Razor
• Entity Framework
• OOP
• Git

Role Overview

• Design & architecture of applications and design/development of user-facing applications
• Testing, validation and optimisation
• Cross application functionality
• Documenting
• Problem solving and investigation
• Requirements gathering (ad-hoc)
• Learning and upskilling into new technology

You’ll be joining an established Employee owned business (EBT), based in a great location in Carnforth / Cumbria. They boast an almost unheard‑of staff retention record due to the variety and progression within the role. As an employee owned business you’re involved in the say of the company and get to have a real influence on the company and have a real sense of ownership and inclusion.

Salary is £45-£60K, plus bonus (standard is over 30%), annual pay review + annual cost of living increase to salary. Medical & pension. You’ll be able to work from home 2 days a week and get full home office kit provided.
