We are looking for an experienced .NET/C# Developer to join a Front Office Commodities Markets IT team based in Central London. The role involves developing and supporting business-critical trading applications, working closely with Front Office users and global technology teams in a fast-paced financial markets environment.
This is a contract position (Inside IR35) offering strong exposure to trading, derivatives, and risk systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Front Office trading applications
- Work closely with traders and business stakeholders to gather requirements
- Enhance system performance, scalability, and reliability
- Provide support for pre-trade and pricing tools
- Contribute to architecture and technology decisions
- Ensure compliance with development standards and governance
Qualifications & Experience
- Strong experience in C# / .NET development
- Experience with modern frontend frameworks (e.g., Angular or WPF)
- Good understanding of financial markets and derivatives
- Experience working in Front Office or trading environments preferred
- Strong problem‑solving and communication skills
- Comfortable working in Agile delivery models
