The Role
The Senior Front-End Engineer will take full ownership of the front-end platform, continually evolving and improving the product using technologies such as React, Redux, TypeScript, and Next.js. The role includes roadmap definition, best‑practice contribution, and collaboration with the Frontend Platform team to enhance the technical foundation and drive innovation.
Responsibilities
- Build large-scale applications with React, Redux and Next.js.
- Demonstrate strong experience with open‑source languages.
- Apply relevant testing frameworks.
- Integrate WebSockets and real‑time messaging.
- Continuously learn emerging technologies and frameworks.
- Work with large, complex applications.
Requirements
Core Technical Expertise
- Deep hands‑on knowledge of front‑end platform technologies and systems.
- Excellent understanding of system and solution architectures.
- R&D‑forward‑thinking mindset for exploring future solutions.
- Extensive experience designing and building high‑quality, large‑scale, high‑performance web applications.
- Proficiency with core frameworks: React, Redux, and Next.js.
- Ability to implement robust features with strong type safety and code maintainability.
- Experience architecting AI‑assisted interfaces, including streaming LLM responses and agent solutions.
Development & Testing
- Hands‑on experience integrating and managing real‑time functionality using protocols and messaging systems.
- Commitment to quality assurance with comprehensive unit and integration tests on recognized frameworks.
Architecture & Growth
- Contribute to architectural and scaling decisions for high‑traffic applications.
- Security and compliance awareness, including Content Security Policies, OAuth/OIDC, and other standards.
- Drive technical roadmaps, aligning 1‑3 year vision with business goals.
- Proactive continuous learning, staying current with emerging frontend technologies.
