CNC Programmer – Leicester, LE7
From £38,000+ per annum – negotiable depending on experience. We are looking for a CNC Programmer for a world leading manufacturer of precision engineered components. This is an opportunity to work for one of the largest engineering groups in the UK specializing in machining and assembling solutions for the automotive industry.
This role is 39 hours a week to be worked between 6am and 6pm Monday to Thursday.
Responsibilities
- Set, program and operate CNC machinery with specific experience of 5-axis machines and HyperMILL software; able to offline programme.
- Ensure production of parts is planned and run to time frames, while maintaining quality throughout the process.
- Program and set the machinery using technical drawings to ensure accurate manufacture.
- Work with machine operators to troubleshoot and resolve machine issues as they arise.
- Liaise with design teams to execute projects accurately.
Requirements
- Experience using CNC milling machines in the UK
- Experience with 5-axis machines
- Experience using HyperMILL
- CNC machine setting and programming experience
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Experience in a similar role
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
